General Plan Update EIR

Notice of Preparation
The City has initiated the environmental review process for the City of Sonoma General Plan Update. The City is soliciting comments comments and suggestions regarding the scope and content of the EIR to be prepared for the proposed project. The Notice of Preparation (NOP) for the EIR that includes project information and ways to participate can be downloaded here. The deadline for comments is 5pm on September 29.

On September 15, 2025 a Scoping Meeting was held with the consultant. A copy of the slides is available here.
